About Us

Founded in 2024, the Pan-African Revolutionary Study Group is a collective committed to advancing political education through the study of Pan-African thought, Black liberation movements, and revolutionary history.

We create spaces for critical dialogue, collective learning, and historical inquiry, empowering our community to better understand the past, engage with the present, and imagine a more liberated future.

Our Statement

We are an independent political education collective. The Pan-African Revolutionary Study Group is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operating on behalf of any political party, government, organization, agency, or political entity. We do not endorse or formally support any political party or political organization.

Our work is rooted in independent study, critical analysis, collective education, and the pursuit of African liberation and self-determination. Our direction belongs to our collective and our communities, not to political institutions, donors, or outside interests.

  • Our Mission & Vision

Our mission is to cultivate spaces for political education, critical inquiry, and collective study rooted in the traditions of Pan-Africanism and Black liberation. We believe that understanding history is essential to building stronger communities, developing principled leadership, and advancing collective freedom.

  • Looking Ahead

Our vision is to establish Pan-African Revolutionary Study Group chapters in cities across the United States, Africa, Europe, the Carribbeans, and South America—creating a growing network of local study collectives dedicated to political education, community engagement, and collective liberation. By connecting communities through shared learning and dialogue, we hope to strengthen a nationwide movement committed to understanding our history and shaping our future.

    • Political Education: Knowledge is the foundation of meaningful change.

    • Collective Learning: We grow through dialogue, study, and shared experiences.

    • Historical Integrity: We engage with history thoughtfully, critically, and honestly.

    • Community Building: Learning is strongest when rooted in relationships and collective action.
